During WWII, Steven Rebeck's sculpted a "Buy Bonds" promotional Mascot for Parker Appliance Co. in Cleveland, OH nicknamed "Parkie" in 1943. His draft registration also noted he was working there as workforce tripled to meet war demand for specialized aircraft couplings, valves and hydraulic systems. The mascot was produced in the companies own foundry. Rebeck's name is on the surface of the stand by the right leg (R)ebeck:
There was also another version with the initials SAR on the reverse of the base:
